OUR STORY
It Began with Family
A child spoke with honesty & heart
It started poolside, on a family vacation. My grandsons wanted to wear the wristbands that allowed access to the pool. In that moment, one of them — just five years old — spoke up with honesty and said he felt the weight of too much responsibility caring for his younger siblings.
His words were simple, but powerful. They revealed how even the youngest children carry feelings that matter and how important it is to give them the space and language to express those emotions.
That moment planted the seed for MOODLES.
The Inspiration
As an educator, parent, and grandparent, I knew this was more than a casual comment. It was a call to action. If one child could voice such a deep truth, imagine how many more were carrying unspoken feelings.
What started as a single spark has grown into tools used in homes, classrooms, and therapy spaces, helping kids recognize, name, and share what they feel in real time.
Our Why
We believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood. When kids can express their emotions instead of hiding them, families communicate better, classrooms become calmer, and communities grow stronger. One child’s voice started MOODLES - and now countless children are using their own voices because of it.
Our Mission
We empower kids to:
• Recognize and name their emotions
• Express their feelings confidently
• Build lifelong emotional awareness
• Reduce the stigma around mental health by starting the conversation early
Our Approach
Kids shouldn’t need a script to express themselves. MOODLES tools are designed for everyday use - simple, visual, and always accessible.
• Reversible bands help kids “flip” their feelings throughout the day
• Playful characters make emotions easy to understand, even before kids can read
• Resources and journals give kids space to reflect and share
• Parents, educators, and professionals gain tools that make SEL natural, not overwhelming
MOODLES makes emotional learning clear, approachable, and fun… because when kids feel it, wear it, and share it, everything around them starts to change.
